I'll ask Serge about the tracks he played. The ones I know were:
Serge Devant Feat. Kyven - Surround U (Some New Remix)
Emjae - Hold Me Down (Jim Conner & Raw Shape Mix)
Serge Devant Feat. Kyven - Surround U (Starkillers Mix)
Sweet! Thanks! |

all i have to say is U N B E L I E V E A B L E !!!!!!!! i cannot believe how amazing last nite was!
got there at 11:30 and waited in a 2 hour line (wearing a t-shirt) and i was cold as f*ck. got there to find a insanely packed main room, no room to move and no room to do anything  but me and my friends made the room we needed...
anyway, serge was killing it when i got in at around 1:30 and everybody was screaming tiesto when he wasn't even on which is typical of ignorant people... tiesto came on at around 1:45 or so and from the minute he started til the minute he ended, the energy never let up! his style is alot different than what he used to be and i can see him being #1 again next year if he keeps this up. Every track was absolutely phenomenal and even though the soundsystem wasn't really up to far, he still made it work really well. It was the first time my friends saw tiesto and they were mesmerized by last nite!!! Tiesto played from 1:45 til about 5:20 and ended with Lethal Industry and SILENCE!!!!!    i still cannot believe he played that, it was an incredible moment and i never thought he would play it cause i've seen him way too many times to know. But i was wrong and it totally blew my mind! :eyespop: :eyespop:
Some tracks i remembered:
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Carl B feat. Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane (Sean Tyas Remake)
Julien Jabre - Swimming Places
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up (??? Remix)
The Aztec Mystic - Jaguar   (can't believe he played this gem!)
Cassandra Fox - Touch Me (Mike Koglin vs. Jono Grant Remix)
Tiesto - Love Comes Again
Tiesto - Dance 4 Life
Tiesto - He's a Pirate
Tiesto - Lethal Industry (Richard Durand Remix)
Delerium - Silence (Tiesto Remix):eyespop: :eyespop:
and so many more that i just can't think of at the moment
but BIG UPS to Tiesto for providing the best night @ crobar, a absolute killer performance, and great memories!
TI ES TO!! TI ES TO!! TI ES TO!! |

Surprising isnt it? lol :stongue: I didn't expect a whole lot from the night. If I could remove that crowd and put our normal crowd in, the night would have been PURE MAGIK!!! seriously great set....Wai even shed a tear.... :( I am not shouting that out to pick, but to explain that sometimes there are just great moments like that :)
Tiesto is slowly coming back to his form, and if we can just boot the fakin crowd, these nights have serious potential to be reminiscent of the old tiesto. :) :)

| I was so exhausted from Sean Tyas/Thomas Datt and couldn't make it to the event. In a way, I'm glad now seeing the post. I saw Tiesto 2 weeks ago in DC and it was about the same crowd-wise, but that time off did Tiesto some good. He brought some energy and fire with his signature bassline and loved it! He gave me something to look forward to in 2007. :D |

Great hearing SvD - Grasshopper for the first time at a club...
Did he play?
Leonid Rudenko - Summerfish (Scandall Sunset On Ibiza Mix)
Richard Durand - Sunhump
Jose Gonzalez - Crosses

Down with the guido's and all those who go to events just to be seen or whatever. I love that almost an hour and a half AFTER Tiesto left and Serge was spinning stuff that Tiesto never would play (ie Ghostbusters track) people were STILL chanting TIESTO TIEST TIESTO. |

just woke up
tiesto defff brung it last night later on in the night he was goin off just as good as he was in may
i got there like 11:30 and the line was down the block i was like screw this i had will call tix so i went right the front to see if i had to wait on this line or nah and the bouncer goes no and opened the rope up and i went right in like i was vip lol i dunno if he made a mistake or thats how it was but i just saved a whole lot of time
i got in serge was pretty good opening the vol was very very low for him at that point
the crowd was crap imo not really a vibe and people were chanting tiesto all night long i mean it got a lil annoying serge was doin a pretty good job
tiesto came on and for the first hour i dunno he was playing some prog and electro blah i expected it but then he played love comes again then put on a sick techno track then he slowed it down and played dance for life :conf:
terrable flow but after that he got good tho alot of tech and some good trance had me moving all night
his closeing was very weird like he was playin some minmal sounding stuff before he put on silence then played a tech-trance song and then just vanished no encore or nutin but tiesto spun a great set all in all and i think he has a few improvements but hes gettin back to the way he used to be
crowd was dumb maddd drunk idiots who never heard of the word excuse me and the stage was dumb with the vip tables they should have had people up there cause at one point the mainfloor was too too packed
i dident really care that he was spinnin upstairs it was ok just as long has he banged it out is all that matters
after tiesto left the room began to clear out a lil and there was more room to dance serge was dope imo
he did play some mix of ghostbusters lol
he also dropped 2divine- black is the colour (yankeebabys fav song :D )
he also droped some crazy track wit the vocals goin "madrid can work it out, ibiza can work it out, tokyo can work it out" and it just kept repeating deff cities and stuff but the beat was dope
he also dropped some mix of sander k- this is not miami
pretty good closeing set from serge
overall it was a good night i had a good time |
