Well. Just needed to make this before I leave to my appartement in Oslo:)

I`m very inspired by New Order, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, The Cure etc. So, I think you hear that with this track! its some retro 80s stuff. But, its my second time to sing a whole song. so, I try to do it as "pro" as possible. Like, when I did write the lyrics I made a Ref, and so a vers, then a ref and a vers, then I tried to make a bridge betwen the last vers and the last ref. And it works very well! Like "borat" says "great succes:D". hehe!

To the singing: I know its not perfect etc. the volume, eq, etc. But, I think / feel that it got some more with the 80s to do now.

Download <---

Hope this will give your dancing feet some "groove" tonight ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Ryan - My Time
Lyrics:

REF:
Everytime I see you, my heart starts to beat
Everytime I see you, my head starts to spin

Everytime I see you, my heart starts to beat
Everytime I see you, my head starts to spin around

Vers 1.
I remember my life before I meet you
It was as dark as the winter is up north
Now there is light to guid me thrue my life
please be with me to the end of my boring road

Because!!!!!

REF:

Everytime I see you, my heart starts to beat
Everytime I see you, my head starts to spin

Everytime I see you, my heart starts to beat
Everytime I see you, my head starts to spin around

Vers 2.
If my road, keep on going like this
I will find the one thing I was looking for
But, changes happens, when you are walking by your own
time will see when I get to the end of the road

Because!!!!

Bridge:
x2
If I do something wrong again
And loose the love I have gained

REF:
Everytime I see you, my heart starts to beat
Everytime I see you, my head starts to spin

Everytime I see you, my heart starts to beat
Everytime I see you, my head starts to spin around
------------
Cheers!
Ryan.

nice track:) very 80's ish as intended...clean sound...maybe you could try to make the sound a lil "harsher" so it would be less polished but more authentic to 80's...but hey...great track! :-)
RickyM
Cool song, very 80's and camp! I think the vocals could have maybe a little more reverb, or be a little louder.

Cool track! I like that funky bassline! The vocals aren't very good though. You should drop all that auto-tune-tweaking. Enjoyed it :) Happy new year!
Akia
I can just agree with the others, a cool track but not so good vocals. Keep working! :)

Happy New Year!

Sounds good... however, the vocals are probably not as loud as they should be.

I'm not a big listener of vocal tracks, but it sounds like you know the direction you wanted the song to take.

BOOsTER: yeah. you got a point there! see what I do with that! :D thanks:)

RickyM: hm. more reverb, I tried that! they did "drown" in the song. and it did not feel so much 80s no more... Because at that time they did not use so much reverb!

Sunclyder: thanks! ;) I did see the Pm. I will think about it! :D

alexpea: hmm. Alex:) hehe. I think I like the bassline the most with the song to! somehow gets my body to groove. I know you Alex really hate auto-tune! I dont use so much. The only place I use it is in the ref! the rest is clean :) Vocals need a bit more work though.

Akia: will work more with the eq, cleansound etc of the vocals. ;) thanks

B_man: I will try do take them up in volume! :D thanks

And to all of you, from me! A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Hi!
I downloaded your track. First my felling is... the vocal should be louder (or more expressive)... there are moments when vocal sounds little-amateur, I think. But mixing vocal is difficult thing, I know. Music is excellent!

Greetz!
