My Final Thread for 2006......
As we count down the hours & min to start our New Year I would like to thank all of the So FL TA's as well as our fellow out of town TA's as well for making 2006 another incredible & memorable one to take down in TA history.
I know towards the middle of the year it may have gotten a little bumpy for me & others but a strong bond between us all has kept us in SYNC & has kept us together as an AWESOME TRANCE FAMILY......
As I look back b4 2006 started our scene has been stuck in a dead end corner for quite some time. Slowly but surely if u notice there has been alot more our OUR LOCAL favorites getting there chance at a Big Venue alowing our choice of music to be played. Sure enough our LOCALS have stepped into that dead end corner & have come out fighting/Swinging & taking NO PRISONERS when given the opportunity to do so.
I stated in late 2005 that in 2006 our music would be brought back in FULL FORCE & OUR very OWN DJ GROOVEERIC & DJ RELIK would start making a BETTER KNOWN NAME FOR THEMSELVES.... & THEY HAVE!!!
Unfortunately a few times our vey own were thrown some nasty obstacles in there paths which kept them from playing but due to hard work & dedication to keep our music alive they ARE getting the opportunity & are getting the chance & the respect they deserve to be heard.
We had DJ GROOVEERIC @ SPACE the first time which was a no go.. He then got a second chance to do what he does best & he showed MIAMI that night @ what DJ GROOVEERIC is capable of doing even in a big venue. Even though it wasn't a main room..... THAT ROOM he was in he showed that packed room what DJ GROOVEERIC is capable of doing.
Then DJ GROOVEERIC @ Candyland... If you weren't there you will never know what u missed.
CONGRATS ERIC on an awesome 2006...

Last but not least.....
DJ RELIK.....
what can we say about the NASTIESS BREAKFAST DJ!!!!
Relik throughout the year has brought us incredible tunes mix after mix afer mix.... AFTERPARTY AFTER AFTERPARTY!!! (lol)
DJ RELIK also has been thrown some obstacles but with time, patience & dedication it too has also paid off. RELIK has brought us some nasty tunes that even TOP NAMED DJ's wouldn't. I'm talkin about some nasty head banging TRANCE!! & his mixing & skills keep getting better & better.... He & OTHERS will be closing out 2006 with an AWESOME PARTY @ AREA 51 tonight for NYE....

& so it continues....
Our music keeps moving forward in MIAMI... & with time it will become once again a favored choice of music.
Spirits now has a weekly TRANCE PARTY which for 2 weeks straight has been nothing but positive reviews & can't forget SLAMMN TUNES...
Hope Spirits can bring some more talent cuz if they can & if they do.....
HARDROCK will def make a BIGGER name for itself having a venue playing nothing but TRANCE
CONGRATS DJ GROOVEERIC & DJ RELIK & THE REST OF THE TA DJ CREW FOR BRINGING US AWESOME MUSIC IN 2006 CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR.
BRING ON 2007!!!!!!
HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SAFE & HAPPY NEW YEAR....

It's you guys that me, Eric & the other local DJ's love putting on a show for. We appeciate the support you have given us for our gigs, online radio shows, and house parties. Like Eric said "without you guys there is no party"

| Guys, I want to send a huge thank you to all of you, my edm family. I love you guys like no others becuase you are the scene and a huge part of what keeps me loving trance music(and edm for that matter). Hell sometimes I'd rather spend time partying with you guys than family. One quick tidbit: there's a strong possibility that I'm moving to California either in February or April. If indeed everything goes through as planned, I know I'll atleast shed a tear when I'm heading to Cali thinking about you guys and what I'm leaving behind. I know I'll miss you all. For now though, I can reflect and laugh at 2006 hehe. Crazy moments and sad one's too. But all in all, a great year. Let us party on!!!! I hope to see you all Saturday!!! |
