The guy owned me all three times I saw him this year. He made me dance more than anyone and each set was completely different than the last :D

Class guy all around :D

Who owned you on the dancefloor this year?
Allied Nations
Steve bug, Lee Burridge, Desyn Masiello

Lee @ Stereo after Trentemoller insanity
Desyn @ Stereo different crowd
Steve Bug outdoor @ Piknic Electronik

Hmmm well I can only judge the DJ's I saw this year in person. My vote definitely goes to Sasha & Digweed. Their B2B show at Miami's Global Gathering in March was amazing! Probably the best DJ set I have ever heard live so far.
MR STROKE
Carl Cox...
both times I saw him this year he BROUGHT it, never disapointed me
Protege
Zabiela. Saw him once and totally owned both sets I saw from Sasha.
Inconspicuous
Matthew Dear. Best set I've ever heard, live or recorded.
DOOMBOT
Undecided between Steve Lawler and John Digweed. I cought Digweed at Nation right before it shut down and he just annihilated it. And then saw Lawler at Crobar and have never seen the club the way it was that night before and his set was just mental.

I would have to say Michael Mayer did it for me. I have always been a fan, but when I saw him live he completely shook the roof and played an incredible set with tracks I've never heard before. His style that night bounced around deep house, euphoric breaks and banging techno...complete quality from MM and Kompakt!

does it suck when you can only nominate bands & not "dj's" for the year :conf:
