Techno? Prog. House?

There's lots of people who don't know the diff. between prog. house and Techno.
Now i don't want u to go on saying who knows better than who, but just to make it clear There is difference!
Prog house is breakbeat bass with repetetive loops including housy tunes. pitch 135 +/-
Tech. is much more cutting low bass more treble with low synths and picth 140 +
State you opinion.

i guess that's correct but also remember that the drum beats of progressive house are usually low and what it dominates are those effects they put.let's not forget that has little or not melody at all. |

Techno is loops. Thats what it is. It can be slow it can be fast but it has loops. It can be deep it can be high pitched.
True progressive actually comes from techno. Prog house combines some techno loops with house beats and vibes. Prog trance combines techno loops with trance melodies. Prog trance also usually has the faster steady beat found it trance. |

not anymore ;) progressive trance doesn't have almost no melodies this days the only one that keeps melodies in prog. trance is james holden. just listen to a max graham set and damn no melodies ;( |
