BEST F-ING NYE EVER !!!

It was unbelievable :) I chilled for a minute and had a smoke with SvD and the VIP's out back just before midnight, danced the whole night to the craziest set ever, had a shot with the BigBoss who made this amazing night happen :) (thanks for the drink Remo, you're awesome bro), and met some of the greatest people ever (Jenn, Sonja, Nick ... you guys are CRAZZZY ;)
Yo Simone ... it was the best idea to attend :D
As it comes to the club itself I'll tell you that much ... I used to live in Windsor for couple of years and in that area the BBR is #1 on my list, and for events like that I don't mind driving those damn couple hours to get there :]]]

<-=::||| If you start a new year like that you can be damn sure it's going to be a good one :D

Finally got a chance to get on the net

My move to Windsor went well.

I arrived at the club around 10:30 after wait from 9-10pm for a cab. My friend and I decided around 10 we should walk downtown.

Over all I was impressed with BBR. The club was nice, the crowd wasn't to bad and Sander rocked it. I thought he would have played a bit longer tho.

One question for people who go to BBR once in a while...... Is is normally trance most the night? or do they play alot of house too??

I think I am going to hafta hangout there more often now that I am in town. If anyone wants to join me just ask ;)

Time for my review :D

Last night was easily one of my most memorable events yet, and it was without a question the greatest NYE I've experienced.

I have to start by saying a very sincere thank you to Remo: I cannot believe how kind you were throughout the night. You did an amazing job with the club and everybody had a great time. Thank you so much for everything: from getting me into the club at the start of the night, to the shots at the bar, to all the handshakes, and especially for inviting us back to your place. It is all very much appreciated--Sonja, Jenn, and I are very thankful! Partying at your club is definitely something I will be doing again!! And, of course, meeting all your friends back at your place was very enjoyable: everybody was really cool and all the girls were sweet-hearts! I had some interesting conversations with April, Jess, and so on...I would love to see those people again (I took down Jessie's cell but Remo feel free to give her my MSN (in my sig)).

The event was so good! The crowd was very friendly: I met and partied with too many people to mention, from randoms to TAs. I have many wonderful memories of partying with so many people, including a) running into Chad again (en amazing! Thank you for all the drinks, for introducing me to all your friends (including your lovely g/f), for welcoming me to your chill-out area and so on....just great partying with you!), b) running into an amazingly fun TA woman who I had met during one of my first trips to Guv a few months back (it was so great to see you again! Sorry it took so long for me to comprehend the background story you were trying to tell me but when I realized who you were I was so happy to see you! Great times hanging out and dancing with you! You're such a kind girl :D. Definitely hope to party with you again), c) seeing Alex aka LOT2005 so many times (I am so happy I got to party with you dood! I had a blast with you and your g/f. I'm very pleased you were there last night bud, had so much fun with you!!), d) partying with Simone aka ItalianPoison (always awesome partying with you man, I know you had a great time last night, pleasure seeing you!), and so on. There are SO many others who I enjoyed partying with and they all know who they are :D:D:D

As for the club itself, Remo did a wonderful job with setting-up the place. The different levels to the club, the different rooms and numerous bars, and so on, are all great aspects of the venue. I absolutely love how close the crowd is to the DJ, it's such an awesome setup. So, what about Sander???? HE EN KILLED IT!!!!!! Anyone who saw his set last night can easily see why he's my favourite DJ! He interacted with the crowd all night and never stopped smiling. His girlfriend was awesome: she looked so happy throughout the set and truly looked like she was having an amazing time--she kept me pumped up the whole time b/c she was loving her b/f's set! Sander's set was, as to be expected, very hard and I loved it! Some of the tracks he dropped...I just went nuts! Lethal Industry!!! His set was just incredible: he was into the music from the second he took the decks to the second he stopped playing, he is such a crowd pleaser! Above and beyond the set itself, I had the pleasure of getting a few autographs, shaking his hand, getting a picture, and having a few small chats with him. I told him that Ontario loves him and that he has to come back to Toronto and he was like 'oh for sure, definitely!'--easily the friendliest DJ I've ever met.

IAN and ABDUL you guys were en awesome!!! Hahaha, the second you guys started spinning after Sander I remember asking you to keep the tunes really hard and you guys were like 'oh ya, of course!'. Ian I fed off your energy all night buddy, you were awesome: I loved looking out at you seeing you smiling and having a sick time!! Abdul it was absolutely a pleasure meeting you: we had a couple great conversations and I really appreciate you taking the time to chat with me. You two were both incredibly friendly and I am very glad we got a chance to meet. I definitely hope to see you two again soon (in between the crazyness of university life!). Also, Abdul closed the Boom Boom Room with a yet-to-be-released Mark Oliver trance mix of Arcade Fire - Rebellion. What a track!!! That was a sick tune to close the night with: it was easy to sing along with and just a great way to end a great night! Keep your ears open for this tune guys!

Sonja and Jenn: I am very very happy we all partied together. Thank you very much Sonja for driving--I know it was hard on you but we appreciate it very much. Thank you to you two for bringing me along, I had an amazing night!

I'm looking forward to seeing all the pics/vids as they emerge! Also, thanks to everyone for the Happy New Years txt messages :D:D:D

All in all, it was a wikked wikked night! Remo, again, I owe you one big time, I am so thankful for everything bud.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to my greatest New Years ever!
