| Well it's 9:36 and I just finished off an omelette. Party went on from 10-6 and I drink a couple litres of wine and wandered around smashed as hell, didn't end up dancing as much as I wanted to because I kept getting stuck in conversations in the girl's room and the lounge. At 6 I went to the afterparty and then danced and wandered around then until 8:30 when the afterparty died. All in all a great night, and I outpartied the pill kids who were twitching on the floor by the end. |

last nite me, my gf and 7 of my friends went to times square, got drunk, friends were hitting on some austrian chicks, crowd surfed in the middle of times square, yelled like s, blasted the air horn all night, sneaked a 24 pack of coronas into times square somehow, ate kabobs, drank in front of cops and offering them beers, peed in front of the universal building as the security guard watched us...
so sick night overall! :D :crazy:

| It pretty much sucked. First part at friend's place was alright, but after we went to a club it was awful. Too many people, too loud music, too long lines for drinks so I ended up drinking and eating nothing. Good thing I drank some beer (5 cans of 0.5 liters) at my friend's place which kept me in the element for a few hours. Around 1 AM I got a "bit" emotional over my ex (she wasn't there) and it pretty much ed the all night up. I was home before 3 AM. This is the second NYE in a row that went bad. I'm afraid to think how will NYE 2008 go. |

before we went to the party, my friend and i stopped at a thai restaurant.
i got red chicken curry and he got fried dumplings and we both got thai iced teas (which he is addicted to now.)
went to the party (it was allll highschool kids :rolleyes: ) drank several beers, 3 shots of patron, some champagne, some wine and smoked 2 bowls of weed.
i barely remember us standing drunkenly around the tv yelling our heads off during the countdown.
then we went to a diner and had brkfst :3 |

me and some friends sat and watched some films and had something to eat at my new mates place. no drunkenness,no heavy partying, just doing all and watching a random selection of films.

Wasn't going to go out due to the fact that I had both played out in Chicago and partied at Danny Howells the night before - However, by about 9:30 Myra and I were both so bored we decided to head out back home in Stevens Point. Headed over to a party some friends were having, got really drunk and really high for free, then went and ate falafel before finally coming home and passing out to the sounds of Myra's drunken snoring.

Half a bottle of vodka, a little bit of whisky, champagne, beer, another vodka-apple, the nice typical Funchal fireworks at midnight, a very annoying hour waiting for a taxi to show up, a good time with friends in a cool club playing crap music, lots of good laughs, coming back home round 6:30 am.
Was overall a good one. |

FWD was good.
I think I had gotten a bit too unrealistic expectations after countless glowing reviews and Youtube vidoes, and my stomach gave me some trouble at times, but still a good night out with lots of good and varied music throughout. Plastic People is TINY, and has a dancefloor which is nothing but a dark room with some speakers blasting bass in your nostrils. Refreshing, in other words.
Positives:
+ Watching Mala space out to the bass all by himself at the bar
+ N-Type and Tubby doing hectic things with old jungle records
+ Hearing the ORIGINAL Richie Spice tune
+ Skream hoisting the crowd up for two rewinds on Kode9 - 9 Samurai
+ Nicely varied music throughout the night
+ Reasonable amounts of people inside Plastic People, advance tickets only worked quite well
Negatives:
- Too loud system towards the end
- Disappointing set by Youngsta, stuck in the same groove for way too long
- Idiots in the men's room (does not apply to the guys who commented on my Superman-ish hairstyle, you guys are ok)
- The majority of the girls, who were too busy chatting to actually dance
- Not quite as up for it crowd as I had thought there would be
- No Sgt. Pokes
Ran into two girls from my Translation of Drama-class last year by chance on the train back to Guildford, who proceeded to spend the entire journey quizzing me on random music trivia. Thanks girls, I needed that after being stuck in a dead student apartment complex for almost a week now.

Was in London stood in front of the London Eye. Fireworks were amazing but didn't get a good pic as there was too much jumping around. I'm sure there are videos on youtube. Good stuff.
