| I am curious whether people who paid upwards of $150 for a tiesto ticket found it was worth thier money. I didn't go because I didn't think it was appropriate to pay this kind of money. Was his set good? Was it mainly trance techno both? |

Your forgetting
It wasn't a 'Tiesto' ticket as you say it...
it was a 'Resolution' ticket that featured very good artists besides Tiesto... |

think it was totally worth the money. I love the fact that the bell centre wasn't overcrowded. So for 150.00 bucks see great dj's and have like 13 hours of partyin on new years. Count me inn anytime. On thing that pissed me off tho were the prices of drinks. 4 red bulls and vodkas for 58 dollars. WTF ?
BY the way everyone dropped a sick set. |

It's hard to answer your question since it really depends what kind of party you're looking for...
If you're keen on bigroom events with plenty faces, then yes, resolution...
For NYE there were a couple of quality smallroom parties; Pheek, mossa, sean kosa, and eloi brunelle @ Deep blue.... Maus, Nathan burns & Soundshaper @ microzoo. |

| Well compared to some nights I've experienced in Toronto I don't think the centre was over crowded. |

| Do you find the people friendlier in TO than Montreal. I notice here in MO that people are very reserved compared to party people in TO. What is your impression mizza318? |

There were alot of people from all over at Resolution last night. After midnight, I must have had atleast 30 random people wish me happy new years, so it'd be hard to say which place would be friendlier :D |

I like MTL people better by a small margin. I've never seen a fight break out at a MTL club. Toronto yes. Not to say Toronto ppl aren't nice. Its hard to find people who look to start at edm events. But from some bad experiences in Tdot (fight at Tiesto at the docks recently) I'll have to say MTL clubber are better. But T dot doesn't have the massive juice monkey overtake of every edm event like Montreal so kudos to that hehe. |
