Yeah that was the perfect closer! I remember attempting to sing along and failing miserably, but loving every moment of it! :D

Awww you missed OUT! Such a beautiful track! If you can figure out what it was you shall be my heroine! ;)
I looked on Discogs and realized I don't even know the name of the original, so I guess that'd be a good place to start. :D
Not a HUGE Smiths/Morrissey fan, but they certainly have their moments... This was DEFINITELY one of them! :eyes: |

The original Smiths track is "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out". The track Three played was done in a different tempo and the vocals, as I recall, were female. |

I think I've found it!
Josh Patrick remix...
Pretty much the original with a souless drum loop ( ) on top and a few extra robot noises here and there... Which, IIRC, and that's a BIG if, was how the one that 3 played went. :D |

I do not believe that it was Morrissey singing on the track Three played. For whatever reason, I really thought it was a female vocal...

(click on the first track listed at the top of their my space page to hear it)
There is also this:
Royksopp / Earland Oye - There is a light that never goes out
Here's a download link to James Zabiela's Kiss 100 set from 2005 (the track starts around the 22 minute mark):

you can also hear a small snippet the Royksopp track here (though it's a different mix from that on Zabiela's set):

And as a last resort, you could go to: www.hallucination.com sign up for a message board account, and ask Three for an official ID.
Hope that helps. :) |
