whats your favorite Transitions on a mix ?
here is some of those i love.
Armin van Buuren - Basic Instinct CD 1
06. Sister Bliss - Sister Sister (Nalin & Kane Remix)
07. Three Drives - Sunset On Ibiza
The fronted percussions of Sister Sister flowing into the subtle percussion line of Three Drives. the best transition that comes in mind.
DJ Tiesto - Magik 5
10. Chant Sweet - Images (Sakin & Friends Mix)
11. Deniro - State Of Mine
i love the way the next track just swaps instantly into the other.. fits perfectly |

Hands down the single greatest series of transitions I have ever heard take place on the second disc of Balance 008 mixed by Desyn Masiello:
Orbital - "Halcyon + On + On" -> Spirals - "X" -> Rozzo - Blue = Pure sex

my absolute favourite and imo flawless:
Zoe (Timo Maas Mix) into Perception on sasha's gu 013. the way he merges the breakdowns and the beat sounds like the songs are one. which is i think the ultimate goal of a mix. |

In other similar threads I know this specific transition has been broughten up, and it too is one my my personal favorite mixes. Just fits so damn well. Great job Armin, gotta give ya credit for this one. |

There are actually several other transitions on that album that are pretty incredible as well.

*Sasha - Belfunk --> Chris Raven - I Know You Love Me Too (Van Bellen Remix)
It is impossible to believe that there was supposed to be another track in there.
*Gus Gus - Believe (16b Remix) --> Furry Phreaks - Soothe (Chicane Jazz Mix)
Amazing.
*John Creamer and Stephane K - I Wish You Were Here --> Li'sha - That's Why I'm Here (Lexicon Ave. Mix)
Danny Howells' Nocturnal Frequencies Vol. 3. One of my favorite cd's for such a long time.
*And 2/3 of Holden's Balance 005.
Many more I'm sure that I'm forgetting. |

Not really a beat mix, but a really cool fade in that I think sometimes sound cooler than beatmixes. Harmonic mixes are the best though.

Another cool mix. Not as memorable as the first one, but still great tracks that flow into each other quite well. This was when Oakenfold was a competent mixer.
