hehe. The screenshot of my desktop posted a while ago is kind of misleading. I had just reformatted, and hadn't really used the computer for extraneous things much.

Usually I download stuff to the desktop for easy access, which will subsequently provide lots of clutter (for example, various addons for Counter-Strike). After a day or two, when everything is finished or whatever, I'll organize the desktop, eg. create a folder, move all relevant files/archives in there and move it somewhere else.

Here's a screenshot of what my desktop looks like currently:

I know how you feel. I'm constantly cleaning up the desktops at work and driving everyone crazy :p

Do those applications on your desktop (FL Studio 7, DC++, etc.) actually work for you? I know Steam works with Cedega/WINE, but FL Studio? Quite frankly, I'd be amazed. There are some applications that are holding me back from using Linux primarily.
