I would honestly take the djm-600 Because Its a trusted mixer and it just looks better. I've never heard anything about the reloop. Although it looks like it has the same stuff as the 600.

I don't know much about the Reloop but from the looks of it and reading a little bit about it...seems to be a better bet if your planning to buy something that will last you. The DJM 600 has some slightly outdated technology. The Reloop also has USB so you can connect it to your computer, which is an added bonus, though your better off with an Ecler Nuo 4 and plugging that into MIDI..should be more responsive. So ultimately i'de say neither and go for an Ecler Nuo 4. You can get a new one for the price of a used DJM 600...since they don't make them anymore.

DJM600 anyday.

tried and tested. Looks less tacky than the reloop - the reloop has no easy way to change the faders, and I bet they'll need changing before long.

Pio all the way.

Definitely the Pioneer over the Reloop, but for DJM 600 money there are far better mixers out there (much nicer sounding for starters). Have you got any features that you really want? Minimum number of channels? Are effects a necessity?

I've not used that psrticular Reloop but a friend of mine once had this one:

There's only one way to put it: it sucked balls big time. He now has a Pio DJM500...

so what's the general consensus on Reloop? are they like a european Behringer? their stuff LOOKS good, but in all honesty i've never heard of them before. also, on the site, it appears all their mixers are "NEW!".

bah, i'm getting a headache thinking of what mixer to get.

How many channels are you mixing?

I second the Nuo4 idea. I have one personally and it's great, but not a whole lot of lights on the thing and the midrange is a bit wider than just about every other mixer.

4-channels, around the $700ish price range, MIDI support on two channels and a dedicated center section (you should probably look at the detailed specifications if you're interested in using MIDI; it's somewhat limited, but sufficient for most purposes). No effects, though. I opted to get mixing with EQing down first, then add in effects. Plus, I'd rather have a discrete effects unit that does its job well rather than one built-in that may or may not be as good. Like you, the I didn't want to save up for a DJM-800 (or A&H 92 or so), but maybe that would have been a better idea. =)

If you want four channels and effects then for DJM 600 money I'd say the Denon DN-X1500 or an Ecler Nuo 5 (bit more expensive than the DJM but well worth the money).
