I've been here for well over a year now, signed up October 2005. In that amount of time I've learned so much here. I find the people here are very nice, for the most part. Much nicer than some other musician forums I've been on. The first time I posted a thread here I was expecting some snotty attitudes, not so, in fact everyone was very helpfull and friendly.

This is by far the best EDM production forum I've been to. The only name I really remember here is Diginut, the flashing frog. I do however know a lot of avitars here, but not the names.

I've been here since 2004 and is really one of a few I come on each day.

I've been spending more and more time in the production room since I've been producing in Reason and now Cubase.

I used to spend more time (reading/replying/posting) in the main music forum but I've found the biggest fans are in here, the ones who really want to immerse themselves in trance - by making it...theres so much crap being talked about in the main music forum.

I still find there are allot of people who are constantly trying to get a sound theyve heard by a producer or make the perfect supersaw when really I think its your own sound that really counts...

Forums can be pretty "cold places" as in, since being in here from 2004 I've only really met and talked to(on msn) a few people.

In real life I dont know any dance music producers (apart from 1 freind who produces dnb) although I'de REALLY like to, to share Idea's and producing techniques.

Then again I think we all know who the regulars are and know you're gonna get help here if you ask a question.

I know theres a few other good forums out there but havent spent much time on them comapred to TA...producing takes long enough let alone searching for the best forum and reading posts...maybe I'm just being lazy.

www.futureproducers.com
www.dancetech.com

Theres just a few picked from "my favourites" list

Respect to Mr.Mystery for being here since day one and I think most people love DigiNut for his what seems like unlimited knowledge, I've heard him beign described as a "Forum Bot" before lmao..I recognise a fair few others too :D

Right I think I've added my bit to this post anyway lol

It says I registered in 2004. It seems a lot longer.

Things haven't changed much in that time, I don't think.

I feel like Mr. Mystery's gotten more belligerent, though. :p

Wow...now that I look back on it, it's been about 4 years since I registered. I remember the reason I did that was to get a song identified. I relaxed out a bit when tranceaddict stopped posting new songs. Started to get into music production and came back probably like 2 years ago. Do you guys remember the old peeps like Thomas Datt, Echano, Icone and Haak? Where'd they all go?

Uhh, Echano didn't go anywhere. He happens to be the other half of Al Azar/Glaciation.
