Is The Wmc Badge/registration Worth It??

I work this every year so maybe this input should help.
To be honest, it's worth it if you are in the business. If you are coming to Miami to party, then there are about 50,000 parties for you to have a good time at. WMC has alot of panels, you can meet other producers(BIG names at that), find out about new technology and the effect on the scene, have that track you produced heard by a record label or producer, and a million other things along those lines. It is mainly a business networking conference, PLEASE remember that....................
Oh yeah, it might be worth it for your friend. If he actually has talent, this is where to showcase it. PM me and i'll do my best to try and connect you with the right people. |

Just like speedfreak, it is for the whole networking thing. However, you are more then welcome to attend if you are just a person who loves the scene. The panels are amazing, your learn a lot from the pros and be able to checkout all the new high tech stuff that has been released to the market.
The badge is worth it if your a dj or not. You get access to just about all of the major clubs and entrance is free at most places wearing your badge.
TIP Buy your badge in November/December, your get it for a lot less... |
