Paul Oakenfold to quit dj and dance music, and make movies at Holywood instead
Paul Oakenfold wants to make movies at Hollywood

The English DJ, Paul Oakenfold confessed in a recent interview for a Glasgow publication that he would like to give up the DJ carrier and start making movies at Hollywood. The reason that made Paul Oakenfold give up DJ-ing is the stress caused by travelling every weekend.
"I still like DJ-ing, but travelling kills me. I hate spending every weekend in the airport. This can become very stressful."
Paul Oakenfold also said that he would like to spend more time with his family. He is also on the nominees list at Grammy Awards for "Best Electronic / Dance Album" with the album "A Lively Mind", together with Zero 7, Madonna, Goldfrapp and Pet Shop Boys.

Perhaps he could tour in the Spring/Summer, and produce movies in the Winter. |

| "A Lively Mind" was an amazing sophomore album, and his EM from last year is incredible, not to mention most of the Sirius Area33 Perfecto on Tour sets are flawless. he's given us 2 decades of amazing, inspiring music, I know he can't do it forever. just like dj'ing and his hip/hop stuff before, I'm sure whatever he does next will be great. I don't know what you guys have 'heard', but I've never seen or heard anything about him doing coke. that's why they're called rumors tho, huh, lol |

honestly i couldnt tell you the last time i even saw oakie dj:rolleyes: i think because the last time i did see him he seemed very dramatically rehearsed. Meaning his hands up in the air crap and acting like hes praying to the gods. I believed it the first time. I was like wow hes all into this but the second time he did the same exact hand in the air thing as he did the last show.
Maybe he would be good in the movies. Seems like hes a great actor:wtf:
not to dog him but hes a pioneer that is def ready to move on but who loves what hes been doing for so long that hes starting get worn down.
