Hi everyone!
Me and Akia decided to make a track together and this is how it turned out :)
It has been time consuming, we began in october and now it feels like its done. We would love to hear some advices, and dont be shy :p
It has been a very instructive for us both. For me it is the first vocal song i've made and it has been really fun making it!

I like it! Nice build up and some synth sounds that haven't been recycled like crazy. Pretty mellow tune, nice come down track.
Vocals are blended well and not overdone nor cheesy.
Sorry I can't be more constructive than this I'm not a producer so you're only getting my opinion solely on the listening stand point. Anyways, well done. :) |

been looking forward to the complete.:)
mix - very tough. i love the mix of tough techy with a atmospheric sound. i can really hear the essence of enchanted woodland. the mix is amazing.
vocals sit in the mix faultlessly. first verse im not sure of the timing.
up till 2.35 im not sure becasue the vocal doesnt seam to flow.
after this point i love the vocal work. perfect! akia - you have a very nice voice. and its nice to hear it being fully taken advantage of by the very talented producer that is our little alex:)
4.50 - the vocal has that same non flow as with near the beginning :( sorry i just think you could make the vocal work with the 4:4 beat more effectively... sorry man:)
overall i love the mix, efx, sounds and vibe. it is very fresh and clear. and you ahve mixed the vocals very well considering its your first attempt at a full vocal track.
8.00- i love all the melodies running together:)
nice job!
ps. tonewashed will be on the cards soon - im gonna tweek my version. ready for a release:) - along with norteks and the awsome speactra mix. |

Great to finally hear the whole tune, i've heard it in bits and pieces for months now ;)
Still can't fully wrap my head around the new vocals in the verses because i still have the old ones in my head but it sounds better and better everytime i listen to it. The refrain is gorgeous, don't change a thing. Love the little swedish parts too.
Cool low-key tune with beautiful vocals, nice work! :) |

How is everything?
Well, listening as i review:
Mmh ... to be honest i am not a fan of the drums in the beginning, they arent bad, but they sound a little "too old" lol ... dont get me wrong though.
Nice Bassline, Nice synth, great atmosphere ... ah here are the vocals ... how is it going Akia? :)
Overall a really nice track, i think ;)

Great track!!! Something that i thing it would be nice is to raise the rhythm somewhere in the end by adding one or two more percs.. :)

hello, finally got to it...so let's start
overall impression is very nice, although I would think the mix would deserve some kind of a bit harder mastering...as it could be louder and such. I like the bass and kick, great sounding...
one thing I'd add to the vocals myself is the infamous reverse reverb, but that might be just personal preference.
I also liked the melodies very atmospheric along with the kick and bass they make a nice tech/atmospheric combo.
one more thing I'd add (again a matter of personal taste I think) is a breakdown, where Akia would get a solo .. maybe with some mellow strings in the background.
Overall, I liked the mix, the melody, vocals, bass, kick etc...the only minus of this song is mastering...it wouldn't loose much if you maximized it a lil bit more...
