Hello all,
Happy New Year to everyone!
I'm on a pretty hectic 3 week tour in South America right now
and it's my first chance to use internet in 10 days. :)
December 28th - KSK Rock Bar - Punta Del Este, Uruguay
December 29th - Crobar - Buenos Aires, Argentina
New Years Eve - Festival - Rosario, Argentina
January 3rd - Ocean Club - Punta Del Este, Uruguay
January 4th - Club One - Neuquen, Argentina
January 12th - Avalon - Mar Del Plata, Argentina
January 13th - Eleven - San Nicolas, Argentina
January 19th - Five - Washington, DC
January 26th - Pacha - New York City
February 3rd - Touch Ultra Lounge - Raleigh, North Carolina
February 9th - Continental - Mexico City, Mexico
If you haven't been to Argentina yet you have to come, asap.
Argentina is one of the most beautiful countries i've been to so far and the club scene here is unbelievable. The crowds have so much energy and are so into the music, the people seem to bounce around from club to club nonstop (there's always a party somewhere). House music, good food, and Soccer seems to be trend here (3 things i love).
Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi and wish you all an amazing 2007.
fyi: some of you know that when i dj i can't see anything but a blur as my vision is horrible. i just got contact lenses and the difference is unreal, i can actually see people and there facial expressions and interact with them now.
I'll see you all at Pacha on January 26th (pun intended) w/ Gabriel & Dresden for the next Made at Pacha event.

LOL Jason, same thing happened to me a couple years ago. I never wore my glasses to the clubs (vanity, but it just wasn't worth it, to be at Roxy or some other place where it was so crowded and humid my glasses would just get fogged up). Then I got contacts. The first show where I wore them, I was remarking to my friend how vivid the lights were, how happy and vibrant everyone and everything looked, and he pointed out that I'm a complete dumbass... It wasn't any more beautiful than a regular night, it was just that I could actually see the mo-fo's clearly for the first time.
Congrats on a great tour through SA, see you on the 26th! |

Thanks man! Seriously, it's completely changed my life and my ability to interact with the crowd. All the time when I would play my friends would be like "man, didn't you see me waving to you??", and of course i'd say no, i can't see 5 feet past the dj booth. lol
The last time I played Crobar BsAs (a little smaller than crobar ny) I couldn't really see anything, this time I could see everything, all the people, faces, expressions, etc... It's really a completely different experience.
