Thomas Bronzwaer @ Adrenaline 01/05/07 Review

Hey everyone!! I have been reading the forums for ages but never really participated due to no internet at work and whatnot but here is my review for Adrenaline this past Friday night...
Alright, the venue was great!! And I am not only saying this because Tony from Addictive Global is my friend, but it really is a nice set up. There are bed-like cabanas and a nice VIP area and enough dance room although the space not being huge. I like that there is a lighted stripper pole in VIP and a gogo-cage for dancers, it was funky. The sound system was great too :)
Ok, on to the music. I showed up at 1 am with my friend from Mexico and the club was empty, really like at most 30 people if that. THAT IS SUPER SAD!!! Needless to say, my friend and I were the only ones that bought a table ($250 for a bottle of Grey Goose for a table of 5 which isn't bad at all). Thomas Bronzwaer was on the decks already and he was AWESOME!!! He threw down Another You, Another Me, Samurai (:D ), even Shivers (which is fun to hear at a club with everyone singing along). Obviously there were more songs but as it being almost midnight and I am semi-awake, I will remember more songs tomorrow!
I being a huge trance fan (and please don't start with the whole "if you are a big fan, then why haven't you posted on the forums?") was dissappointed that it was a low turn out. Granted, I know that Area 51 got a bad rep (I went to the Suzy Solar shows), but how often does THOMAS BRONZWAER come to Miami!?!?!? It was great to see Colleen again, and she was sad that alot of people who said they were going to go, didn't. :confused:
I know a few went to see Acosta and Edgar (I love them!) but since they now have a steady gig @ Spirits, it wouldn't have hurt to miss one (1) Friday night to support TB and Ariel G. and Kaenow in Miami (which by the way they both kicked ass too!). The scene will never pick up again if people do not come out to show some support. Even GrooveEric stopped by before heading to another function to show his support.
All I am saying is give Adrenaline a chance!! I know you guys hate the venue, I have read the reviews, and trust me, I didn't like getting a $120.00 bill for 6 drinks the size of a mouthwash cup when I saw Suzy and Edgar spin in December!!! But this is a new promoter trying to help bring back the scene, and any suggestions (not criticism!) you guys have, share it with him and I am sure he will try to fix the problem.
Remember that Thomas Datt along with Ariel G. is spinning on Saturday, January 19th!!! Cone out and show your support!! I know Mel would appreciate it too!

Trust me I know!! I have been there!! I feel like such a vieja cacatua when I miss out partying!!

Well then, there you go!!
I am saving my vacation/sick (cough) days for WMC. After last year working all day and dancing all night till the morning to go straight to work and do it all over again, I was done after Ultra and I literally slept for 3 days straight and missed out on all of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday events :sadgreen: |

I still missed Markus on Monday and my friends had a table at Space for Sasha & Digweed...
Besides being sad about missing Markus' last song last night, I'm extra sad thinking everything I missed last WMC, lol..

I haven't been to a lot of the shows at ADRENALINE..Due to the fact that
I am always traveling or playing another city..
It felt really good to come back to Miami and play.
There is nothing like playing in your hometown where your friends are and people who know you support you, Just because they love the music.
I know that AREA 51 Metro whatever you might remember it as (HAS A BAD REP)
But from what I saw on Friday night there wasn't anything sketchy about the place.
The ADRENALINE room has its own seperate entrance. The sound system is killer
and the dance area is MASSIVE. This place has a serious vibe for a good show.
Much support to A STATE OF MIND & THE FIX. I support everyone there all my friends.
Only once in a while (Speaking As a DJ and Producer) Do I ever get to see the artist tracks that I play, Live in a venue in Miami. Granted we are spoiled or were spolied. TIESTO, PVD, ARMIN, DEEP DISH and many others grace our clubs all the time. Thomas Bronzwaer, Thomas Datt, Jonn O'Callaghan & Sean Tyas are the people behind the records that the TOP 3 support heavy in there sets.
It was great seeing everyone..Thnak you Wenddy for the GLASS OF GREY GOOSE..
I owe you a drink..and See you guys at THOMAS DATT I may be playing as well checking my schedule...

I just think they need to get another name for their party. We have been doing Blue for 2 years now with the name "THE FIX" . Im sure whoever came up with that name knew that .. So please

I think this discussion about the whole "Fix" name issue was on the other thread and I believe Tony (Addictive Global) said they had the copyright rights.
Whatever the case may be, get your butts over to Adrenaline and show your support! :) |

Well it wasn't that strong, But it was good. I dont drink that much so anything gets me a little buzzed lol..
And for sure you can hang out in the booth anytime..
