| I'm pretty sure the virus doesn't contain a vocoder... |

I gave it a go by sticking a mic into a 4-track, then the four track into the virus but the effect of the vocoder always seemed too weak. I probably set up the virus wrong and at the time couldn't be bothered figuring it out.
Try http://www.infekted.org/virus/, I'm sure you'll get more help there. |

| Interesting, I didn't know this, the official accessmusic page has no mention of a vocoder, and I have never heard anyone speak of it, but upon researching further I found out that you are right :) |

| Yeah, all I ever got out of it was a really weak signal. That was a few years ago. Haven't tried again since but thought maybe there was someone out there who had gotten it to work properly. If anyone has, I would love to know the details of how. |

If you're wanting to vocode your voice, are you plugging your mic into a pre-amp before the virus? You have to do this - hence me using the four track.
Like I said, I did get close but gave up (after about 20 minutes, I have ADD!). If I remember rightly I didn't use the vocoder presets, maybe I wasn't aware there were any at the time.
