I enjoy Starbucks too... but I get a coffee there as often as I get an ice cream from dairy queen or baskin robbins... it's a treat, but can't imagine drinking that stuff every day. Their specialty coffies are nice, but their regular coffee tastes like ass. (cat's ass?) |

Their specialty drinks are great, but their coffee tastes burnt.
A tip I learned from the local "barista" (:stongue: ) is that if you want a reg coffeee, you should ask for the mild blend because it actually contains MORE caffeine but has a milder taste, and thus tastes less burnt. :) |

You know, sometimes I think stuff like this is nothing more than a joke being played on half-wit consumers....just to see how stupid they are, or how easily they can be brainwashed to go along with an idea that is clearly ing retarded.
Somewhere, some corporate s are sitting around in the boardroom, laughing their asses off at the stupid fools who actually pay for crap (no pun intended) like this...all the while plotting what they're going to dupe people into buying next.

Moroccans produces an oil, Argan Oil, from a similar method- fruit grown on a tree, goats climb up the tree, eat the fruit, poop out the pits, and then locals sift them out & press them for the oil. Of course, modern manufacturing plants have eliminated the goat factor, but there are plenty of local villagers who probably still harvest it the old fashioned way.

edit: according to wikipedia, argan oil that's been made by this 'digestive manner' apparently is far inferior to the manufactured oil. Obviously there are less fortunate people that are still going to use this method, but for the most part it probably just makes for a good story to tell tourists. ;) |
