Keep em comin lads and lassies, where's Creator? I want him to listen to this and tell me if he thinks it's bollocks or not :p
Also I'll post a tracklist soon, just want to have as many people as possible review the mix by listening to it not by reading it. |

Well I have never given this a real label, I mean, Prog is what people are calling it so I guess that's what it is.
But there are some weird ass tunes in there towards the end, the two first ones also are far from "normal".
Either way I hope you enjoy it Nick, you've always had wikkid taste in music so I wanna hear what you think. |

Thanks for the kind words first of all Alex. I hope you won't be dissapointed by the length of the review coz it's not going to be a huge one like i sometimes do.
Overall it's a great first mix. Calling it Megamix brought a huge smile to my face :D The first two tracks like you pointed out already are far from normal and I gotta say they are my favorites from the set apart from the last track. Good mood-setters but to me they were also a little decieving coz when I heard them my first thought was that this set was going to bring something different in terms of generic sound and then the third track changed all that. I know it's me coz I've really grown out of regular house/prog music, for the prog and house genre these are good tracks but for my personal tastes I only enjoyed bits and pieces (ex: some interesting melodies in the background) Around the 32 min it becomes deep house and that's sick coz it's spooky and reminds me of Satoshi Tomiie , but then again I don't really listen to Tomiie anymore so my tastes have changed...
41:58, I don't know why you put this song, this is 1234 music and i would've cut this out to make the set shorter..reminds me of Roboto and other such commercial choons
the last half hour is great for the dancefloor. There's that other track I would cut out entirely at around 1hr14m but the last track really ends things on a very high note. Lutzenkirchen is a SiCK producers and its one of those electro-house songs that would make me go nuts on the dancefloor so kudos for the selection on that one.
Overall I think you should be very happy with your first mix. Flow is good although the first two tracks start telling one story and then it's as if it's brought down to a different level from the third track onward, but again that's just me. Technically I can't really say anything coz it's ableton :D but one thing i can say for sure is that you have good taste in prog/house music.
Keep having fun and you never know what might happen, if i were you id join the Circus Dj contest just for kicks.
Cheers,
