Yay another Purefuture events spammer.
cervy
This is the place to post upcoming events is it not?
UWM
Generally, yes. However what could most properly be termed an 'unwritten policy' here is that a promoter/poster contribute something constructive to the forums other than coming around once every few months solely to post information on an upcoming event in which you hold a vested financial interest. Judging by the fact that you still maintain a 'tranceaddict in training' status after being registered for over three years, I can't help but assume that your role here is purely promotional.

Furthermore, in the event that you've got multiple events to promote under the same agency, you will elicit a much warmer response if you post the lot of them in the same thread with a topic something along the lines of "Upcoming Purefuture Events", and include the notable talent in the topic to attract people's attention to read the post. It will help to cut down on clutter and it's often times more effective to package all of your information into one thread. This way, an event of less interest that would likely fall to the nether regions of forum obscurity will be perpetually force-fed to the masses who will choose to post in / read the thread due to an event of more notoriety.

(Something along the lines of pairing a Kalwi & Remi promotion in a thread with Sasha, for example.)

I hope I'm not coming off as rude. Kristin told me not to.

In all honesty I was trying to give a brief summary as to the reasoning behind my comment. If it came off as arrogant or sarcastic I can assure you that it wasn't my intention.

We must have completely different opinions on "laying down the law." Normally I just tell people who post 5 separate threads on 5 separate events to go themselves and delete the threads but because I have a lot of respect for Pure and what they have done for the Chicago scene I tried to be helpful and explain my point of view.

What happened to the 17th floor plumber?
17thfloorplumbe
mmm.. my fault.. i didnt go into work today.. so some1 is picking up my slack... some1 being cervy which i assume is milo? and i dont know how i escaped that thrashing when i started posting pure events :nervous: must have just got lucky. if cervy is indeed milo.. then yes he should get crap for not posting on TA as he is actively involved in bringing/managing the very best EDM talent to vision every saturday and should be on this board rambling about it liek the rest of us. also i believe it might be part of the initiation into the midwest TA board that you must post about one pure event before joining discussion...
