I have posted the same list (except best memories and best topic) on my board also. If you want, we could merge results at the end. Huggs from Mtlnights is also doing it, and by January 18th we close the topic and merge results of the boards.

Best Club Event : MUSICALLY = Nick Warren @ Tribe in November (hands down 1 of the best club sets I've ever heard) / PARTY-WISE = Sander Kleinenberg @ Tribe (I was up until 8am Friday morning, ayoye...) and also PARTY-WISE: Desyn Masiello @ Stereobar in November (the night he showed up randomly and unexpectedly).
Best Overall Afterhour : (((Stereo))), duh.
Best Afterhour Event : MUSICALLY = John Creamer & Stefane K @ Circus in September / PARTY-WISE = Sander Kleinenberg @ Stereo in April. Honourable mention: Creator's 6 hour extended sets @ Aria, I always looked forward to those...
Favorite Up&coming Mtl Dj : Maher Daniel (even though he's kinda already "here", in MTL, playing Stereo mainroom and whatnot, not really up and coming anymore). Oh and his prods are pretty stellar, most of the time; that gives him my respect, too. I think the international level ain't that far away for Mr. Daniel, considering his bookings on the East coast in Halifax as well as down south in Miami.
Favorite Up&coming Internationnal Dj : I think there are 3 main up and coming international DJs that will eventually become the Digweed, Sander and Lawler of the future: Desyn Masiello, Nic Fanciulli and James Zabiela. Yes, they're recognized internationally now BUT who the hell knows what the future has in store for these 3 guys. The talent level and what it takes to be a DJ is exceptional for all 3 guys imo (especially for Zabiela on the technical level) so ya, we'll wait and see I guess. But basically, I think those 3 names will be seen WAYYYYYYY more often and talked about with mucho respect and musical gratitude within the next 2 years.
