The only artist album to be released on Crosstown Rebels, "Familia" was regarded by many as the electronic album of the year. The unique sound of "Familia" appealed to anyone with an appreciation of quality electronic music, and is frankly a work of genius. Pier, one of many cutting edge artists emerging from Chile, is no newcomer to making his own unique style of techno. This year has been his biggest year yet with new productions, a continuous world tour and an appearance this summer at Sven Väth's 'Cocoon' sessions at Amnesia, the club that proves you've really made it. "Hay Consuelo" is a haunting slab of spine-tingling, Latin inspired techno. The addition of the Spanish vocal by Macha gives the track a timeless and magical quality. "Instinct" is a new exclusive piece of work from Pier's fascinating mind. This is a theme in all of his productions; they work on different levels at different stages of the day/night. Samim is the choice of remixer for "Hay Consuelo" and the multi-talented Swiss producer supplies the perfect complement to the original to make this, once again, a very exciting Pier Bucci/Crosstown Rebels release.

Seriously check out the Samin remix of "Hay Consuelo". Yikes! Now that is a serious tune. "Instinct" holds it's own as well.

| This guy has had some other releases on Crosstown rebels in recent years - check out a l'nuit. Sort of a haunting vocal, very minimal track, then this retarded bassline kicks in. |
