Alright, heres another death metal remix by me...
This ones called "by the light" from a death metal band from Florida called Obituary.

| Holy crap man. I have nothing against death metal, but I am not a fan off a song with a drum track that has a missmatched BPM from the rest of the song. I don't think I have ever heard something as musically displeasing as your remix. You should research tempo matching as well as listen to some more diverse music to get your creativity flowing. I hope this review doesn't hurt your feelings but I do hope you realize that you do really to practice on your production. |

My feelings are never hurt by reviews. In fact, I need as much of it, or how will I ever learn? ;)
I will take your points about tempos etc very seriously.
Its easier for me to make a track from scratch rather than remixing.

| No problem. There are some really good apps to learn the tempo of songs on the internet. In fact most audio sequencing apps can learn the rempo of a raw file as well. I thought about your track some more tonight, and the other thing I want to say is that metal is constructed as a tight musical genre. If yuo want to remix metal make sure you have very tight drumming. 3 Drummers and 10 years wiser as a guitar player begs me to tell you that when things are tight they can be very efficiant tothe ear involving metal. Good lcuk bro! |
