ROBOTS SPECIALIZED MOUNTAIN DIVISION:
Alpine warfare is one of the most dangerous for machines, as it involves fighting not only the humans but also extreme cold and steep slopes. The problems multiply due to snow avalanches-either natural or induced by the enemy-this is why ROBOTS teamed up with The Novay to ambush all the human skiers. Make sure to pack a lot of antifreeze as we attack the long nights of winter with reinforcement from the M_NUS artists who will fight with us to hold the high ground at Cielo.
Troy Pierce: (M_nus)
Raised in cornfields and brought up on the Midwest sound,
Troy moved to Berlin and started making a name for himself as
both a DJ and Producer 4 years ago. After extensive touring
with the M-nus crew both as part of the min2MAX tours and
opening slots for Mr. Hawtin he has the experience of the
world circuit under his belt. Troy Pierce’s ‘25 bitches’ on M_NUS
was one of the hottest tracks of the year.
Marc Houle: LIVE (M_nus)
Undoubtedly fueled by the golden age of synthesizers,
Houle is captured by early 80’s synth pop and the underground-
turned-anthem classics of Acid House. There’s also no doubt that
the early years of minimal techno had their share of influence as
well (‘Clock Width’ is a subtle tribute to Dan Bell) inspiring his own
model of rhythm and resonance. Marc Houle is one of the busiest
producers, with catchy minimal flavored releases such as the
Bay Of Figs LP on M_NUS.
Ambivalent: LIVE (M_nus/The Novay)
This will be Ambivalent (Kevin 'Micromini' McHugh) first LIVE production-his eagerly awaited forthcoming track on Minus has been used continuously by Richie Hawtin during his sets and is generating a real buzz in the club circuit. We are really excited to hear him 'live' for the first time. Definitely a man who's set to make 2007 his big year...
