Yout might as well walk, its only 6 blocks down and 2 over....Or at least walk there and pay the $5 cab back when you are (hopefully) intoxicated.
*Edit: cab it if you are a woman who plans on walking alone. If not, you might as well walk, its so close and not really worth the $$ |

SHOOOT!! yes i met under 25*** (i'am 22)
And yes people I'am having the worst trouble deciding between Andy Moor & Steve Porter (I'am not from NY, therefore I do not know about the other DJ's, sorry)
I went with porter cuz I heard Crobar is the real NY club experience and has a bigger crowd. I also checked out the videos of Crobar on youtube and it looked ver appealing :).
Anything going on Saturday night?
Anything else I should def check out? I love modern art/photography and girls!!!!
Keep in mind, I will be there (NYC) by myself, for 4 days. |

Saturday would be a better day to hit Crobar with better DJs then Porter & the crowd level would be twice higher then on Friday. (once again my opinion)
Also...
Andy Moor -w- Big Mike & Alex Pearce & Saint Jules--- Friday 01/12/07--- Duvet/Motion (NYC)
is more of a real NYC party with local DJs and crowd wise also.
And late night after Crobar closing early around 6-6:30am on Saturday you can make it to Pacha for few more hours unless you also want to go to afterhour party. There are couple of other parties around next weekend but I doubt you need so much clubbing for your first NY clubbing weekend.
Good luck with your choices.

Crobar on fridays are usually not that packed unless it is a major dj that is spinning. But its decent.
If you like modern art, go to the Museum of Modern Art on 52nd between 5th and 6th avenues. From where you are, walk to 6th avenue and take the F train north to 50th street.
The other museum of modern art is at the Guggenheim.
If you like girls, well...go to any number of the thousands of clubs/bars we have in NYC. |

| Also, keep in mind...Steve Porter at Crobar is at a megaclub. Huge space for 3000+. Andy Moor will be spinning in a small room that holds 300+ |

| Go to Crobar man. First time in a club in NYC its def. worth it. After that not so much. ROTF. Should be a good time especially since Steve Porter KILLED it when he opened up for Paul Van Dyk in Novemeber. |

if Trance is your thing, Andy Moor is trancey on the prog tip... personally, you cant go wrong with Porter @ Crobar...
1. Its Free b4 1am
2. Andrew Vogt in the Reed Room early on is a treat as from personal experience, hes a good dj and is a TA.
3. Stadenco who will be opening for Porter in the main room is a good DJ as well, another NYC local.
4. Steve Porter.
peace. |

NO MAN!!!
We in nYc go to Crobar strictly sober but there is always that one dude from West Coast that gets hot rolling on E and climbs the stage naked before bouncers have to take him down and the NYPD closes the club down like last weekend when it got radded because of that one dude from the West Coast. We, New Yorkers, had nothing to do with the Crobar closing last weekend. |
