DJ Tyler C from Calgary
View this Thread in Original format

Tyler C landed his first paying DJ gig for a small-town hockey team when he was 13 years old. 15 years later, he’s played for club crowds, massive parties and radio audiences from coast to coast.

Currently a resident at Calgary’s most popular electronic music night - Horizon Fridays at the Warehouse - his sound can mostly be described as big room house and electro, though he’s also partial to breakbeats, disco, techno, progressive and rock (along with live drumming on his “digital-drumkit-of-doom”). He’s played with literally dozens of the world’s top DJs, and currently hosts a bi-weekly radio show.

So I found this guy whilst surfing around listening to tunes.

I've downloaded a few of his mixes and I'm quite impressed. This guy plays banging, peak hour party house.

I never knew Calgary had this type of talent. Based on his profile it sounds like he plays a pretty big night there as well.

The first part of this set sound like there should be people on trapeze rockin' it out. I like it a lot.

He's got a load of set's here for the taking: http://www.djtylerc.com/blog/?page_id=34

Tyler C has a good sound and puts the tracks together well. Surprised I've not heard of him before (considering he's Canadian).

n*joy. always happy to share good new djs/tunes/love.

You were really impressed with that weren't you - it's like the 100045693th time you brought it up, eh?

Reason why I found it to be so funny is for the simple fact that it was the absolute truth.

Interesting how defensive you got, doesn't sound like someone who has confidence in his "taste".
