oh yea! i totally forgot about a funny story that is related to this thread. i scored a date the other day with a hottie because he thought i soundned sexy on the phone.
on tuesday i had to call up this bike shop (think BMX, not Harley) to get an estimate faxed to me because one of our clients was in an auto accident and his mountain bike was attached to his car when he got hit. this is one of those rare cases, i don't normally deal with bike shops in my job.
so anyway, i'm talking on the phone kinda low because i had just told the receptionist to tell an annoying client i was at lunch cuz i didn't feel like dealing with him then, and she sits right by me so i didn't want him to hear me yacking on the phone in the background. i must have sounded all seductive and quiet cuz all of a sudden the bike guy is like, "so jamie (totally mocking my voice but he sounds like a drag queen instead) do you always talk like this when you need things to be faxed to you right away cuz it's totally working...i'm faxing it right now" lol i started cracking up and i'm like, "oh we have a clown here"
so whatever we flirt for like 10 minutes on the phone and he sounds really hot himself, but in my mind i'm thinking don't get too chummy this guy could be really ugly. so then i'm like, "do you have myspace" (totally gay, i know, but i really wanted to see what he looked like) and sure enough he did, and he's adorable. we have a date tomorrow night:)
he's into the whole BMX bike stuff...crazy boy. he owns that bike shop and is in competitions all over the world and stuff like that. i dont really see myself with a guy like that, but whatever...gonna see where it goes.
and here ya go for all you "pics or stfu" ppl;)

yea i know, but whatever...at least he's not a metro and gets them waxed like my ex. lol actually my ex didn't wax them, he plucked. haha
this guy is a total guy's guy. i called him last night and he was "riding" around with his brother...literally on their bikes. i dunno why i found that funny. he's like 29. lol |
