beatport woes

Anyone else having credit card problems on beatport recently?

I made a purchase last week without a hitch, as I had for some time, same card, same everything, but now my check card is being declined. I called my bank and everythings fine, i have more than enough money to pay for what I was buying.

Apparently there is a list of people that are experiencing this problem. I've read that it can be caused by using an anonymous proxy that masks the IP, as in behind a router, but I have always used a router. I tried making another account, same deal.

However, on my bank account history the charges changed from beatport to something like beatport UK, and a couple days ago, my bank called me and told me that there were suspicious overseas charges from beatport, which I told them were acceptable. Has beatport implemented some new overseas billing that is going to screw a lot of people over?

I know beatport has lost thousands already from the amount of people that have reported this problem, and it's ing people like me over that need new tracks for this weekend's gigs.

had the same problem. it just stopped accepting my CC until I emailed them and said "hey wtf going on??" and they said something about changes in the way the system charges CCs and they said they would make me an exception, and eventually my CC works again..
