I've had mine for over a year now. I'm going to be upgrading as soon as I can (Xone:92, DJM 800, or D.4 probably), but the M304 has definitely gotten the job done for me. I really only have two complaints:
1) The EQ knobs are too small, which can make it difficult to do a lot of fiddling with stuff. However, the kill switches do help out a lot in this respect.
2) The channel meters are pretty much useless. I've never ever seen them go red, and I have to kick up everything just to get it to go yellow. You could have a 5 dB difference between two channels and wouldn't be able to tell at all from the meters.
Other than that I'm pretty happy. Sound quality is good, you can connect a ton of (6 line, 3 phono, mic, fx), and the kill switches are cool (even though I don't use them much).
If you're just starting out it's a pretty good mixer at a good price, but if you've been at it a while you'll definitely want more than it can offer. |
