hey dave, those headphones look slick, but i would return them... wireless audio is never as good as wired audio.

Ya...

Someday it will be available, right now the latency is too high though.

Delay isn't too bad.. but the 1 1/2 second delay causes problems.

Man I had a blast Sat night!! Mike Shiver rocked 1015 apart! I loved how he played an extra hour… Blurr did a great job opening and TAJ kept the energy flowing strong after Mike!  Awesome awesome! I agree with Rich, 1015’s vibe was amazing this weekend. The lighting was top notch too.

Got it Rizen!!!

I have to say... I cant wait for Feb & March, 1015's lineup looks exciting, expecially with all the talent coming our ways... I have not seen any other venues right now bringing the caliber that they have in store.

With Coachella and WMC right around the corner, turning out to be a stellar beginning for 2007...

I cant believe its already gonna be Feb though!!!

It was great to see all fellow trance addicts for this trancending night at 1015. There was a great vibe and everyone was happy. Wish we could've seen Blurr's set & all of Mike Shiver's set, next time we'll we'll have to take off work.

Thank you Rizen for taking the pics we asked you to & being so nice about it.

Taj your set was spectacular, a perfect ending to our night

OK, I have to complain about something. Cause that's just how I am, lol.

I only was there for like 30-40 minutes during Blurr's, but on three of the transitions the volume was just dipped and the next track faded it. It was beatmatched but it was whack. And someone else said this happened a bit before I got there. Need to work on that. No excuses. :)

Can't honestly review the progression because I wasn't there long enough, but what I heard was OK..maybe a little too ASOTy for me, but dunno...I think I did hear you slow down the BPM a bit at the end which was smart. (Note: I'm not a huge fan when Armin comes out and plays just like he does on ASOT because there's not much direction and over the course of two hours it gets dull...but luckily he rarely ever plays that way in SF and usually bangs it out pretty good. Usually experience his ASOTy sets in LA). ;P

Sorry, someone had to say something and I'm the brutal one.

Again, thought Mike's set was awesome. Better than KnA's the night before, easily. But KnA is such a different vibe. They are pure party atmosphere and that's what they are about. Not so much the perfect set. Why thought they were great for Alibi!

Hahahahaha..

The critic DaveT is, I was expecting this.

I didnt get there early enough. I usually like to wipe down the mixer. I usually do, but for some reason the mixer was sticky on the bottom with something on one of the faders. this may sound funny, but my finger got stuck to the bottom of one of the faders, which dipped the sound out a few times during transition. What was funny was I was thinking the whole time "I wonder if DaveT heard that" so if you look back on the video, you'll see me look to my left and right looking for DaveT... Agreed no excuses for that Dave, I know your a stickler for transitions and sound. Good thing it was beatmatched or you probably woulda smacked me with a ugly stick.:stongue:

No worries will not happen again.

Yes, I started at around 132, and peaked at about 140-141, then brought it back down to around 137...134. Last track I believe was around 134. When I played the David Guetta track , I couldnt have it too fast or the track would have sounded like the chipmunks.

This time around I experimented with a few things, I didnt want to stick to my regular routine and threw in a few tricks with the mixer along side my transitions. If you watched most of the time, I looped a majority of the tracks, and faded those into the transition to the next ones... I did alot of beatmashing here and there too.

Agreed on the comment about K&A though, pure party. I did in fact see Ralph Kyau hit his head on the top of the booth tho, that man can jump.

You know how we do, DaveT, you and I are always like the ebert and ropers of the parties..

delay is one thing, but no wireless technology will ever match the accuracy and resolution of directly wired audio. wired headphones are just transmitting the original analog signal directly from the mixer, whereas wireless audio will transmit in digital. this means another layer of adc and dac compression and decompression, an additional jitter buffer algorithm, and transmission along half the bandwidth of wired signal, which means ANOTHER layer of codec compression. this is just what you're facing with signal carriage and speaks nothing of signal amplification, which also takes place along d-class ics that are invariably lower quality than the mixer's. so cliffs: wireless will never ever ever be as good as wired if sound quality is of any importance.
Dj Blurr
Agreed..

I always like to experiement though.

Lex you always trip me out with your space cadet talk dude.
