Final Call
sighs, i feel like giving up..bleh. Anyways my biggest problem is always trying to get that pumping bass feeling out of a track. And i dont know how to do that. I don't have monitors, but when i listen to other tracks my subwoofer is always booming. But when i play my tracks on it, i can only feel my kick and a tiny bit of my bass. So what im asking is could anyone give me some tips?

hey man

i'll try and help :)

your track isnlt lacking too much bass - i think you've jsut got too much volume on your lead. Bring your lead down and EQ it so you drop all the bass out of it and then bring your bass up a bit

I always make trakcs where bass and kick sound good and then fit in a lead sound over the bass.

i've had the problem when i was doing psych trance, tried to get the bass pounding away with the kick... couldn't get it the way i wanted :)
but i think with the bass that you have in particular, it should sound subtle :S
do you have a track that you try to compare to?
