Q+ is basically expanded q, with 100 voice poly.. and 16 analog filters..

So all in all:

µQ Pheonix (500), Q Pheonix (200) and Q+ Pheonix (Made to order I guess?)

Basically shifting the last remanants of stock and parts from the previous incarnation.

Did the Q/Q+ still have outstanding issues when they went under? I know they did when they were first released...

Blofeld and Stromberg

Stromberg looks to me like a trimmed down Q/Q+ sans analog filters, step seuqencer etc.

The Blofeld then being the new generation equivalent of the µQ.

Zarenbourg

Not my cup of tea at all, so I'll hold any comments. Direct competition to the Nord Stage?

All in all, don't know what to think... happy that Waldorf is back, if just as a name only.

The question is how they will go this time (3rd ?) around. My understanding is that they lost some good people to Access; hence the Virus TI's wavetable synthesis (PPG Wave/µWave) and VST interface (AFB Filterbank)

And whilst not being totally blown away by the new product line, there is a fear that they may turn into Novation.... (rebranding the same synth 2,479 times)

Note: Probably sounds like I'm a Waldorf hater, or maybe just cynical.

But I do own D-Pole, a Pulse, a µQ and a µWaveXT
3rd Signal

can I have a non pdf version?
sounds awsome!!!

-Edit-
found it on their site. looks ing hot. but still needs a good soundset to see what it can do.
