im not hating on your videos but i wish people would realize that watching people waving hands in front of the camera is not particularly interesting, and we all certainly know what Tiesto looks like so panning away from him is probably a good idea.
I think a better perspective for a video at crobar (or any club for that matter) would be taken from a high vantage point looking DOWN at the crowd so we can see the total atmosphere - in the case of crobar, from the stairs on the right side when walking into the main room would be idea.

That's the best i can do man! I'm not a professional cameraman. Besides the place was very packed that night, if you moved you can't go back.
i think you need to enjoy the videos with the music and the awesome crowd that was there. |

dude, i was there, it was insanely packed. Im not hating on your video skills, i know the limitations that were in place because of the crowd (i definately wasn't trying to insult you, perhaps i could have used better wording). Im just saying for future reference shots looking down on the crowd are much more enjoyable. Next time go to the stairs that are on the left side of the stage when facing it, you'll produce some kick ass videos, and the lighting will surely be better. |

Actually I'm no longer in NY; i was just there for the NYE. i live in Minneapolis, Above & Beyond are coming at The Quest next month. can't wait to see them.
BTW do u take pictures...or know a website that has pictures from that night?

TA should have some posts somewhere. I wasn't interested enough to search it out. An easy way to get videos from that night is to go to Youtube.com and search for "tiesto crobar" and then click the sort by "date added" link on the left side of the page under the search title.
If this link works, >>>>>>>>>CLICK HERE<<<<<<<<<<<<<< then i've already search Youtube for you and the videos that are nearest to the top are from Crobar on 12/30. Enjoy. |
