SVD doesn't play ANYTHING of the sort. Not even close!!!
Go listen to his identity mixes they are all a mix of dirty electro house, tech trance and techno.
Hard bangin basslines does not depict hard trance!
Better yet, listen to his essential mix a few more times. There's nothing like it! |
His Identity remix was nothing like his live set in Toronto. SvD plays a lot of different styles but he does play some mean Hard Trance, which isn't really shown in his Identity shows. But its true, lately he has been playing a lot more other stuff. I just got his February DJ Mag CD Mix and there isn't any Hard Trance..lots of nice dirty electro and tech trance stuff |

SVD, purple haze, sandler, etc... he has many different aliases hence different styles of music - this is what makes him who he is ... the VARIETY
i agree - his identity mixes just don't do the justice, hear him LIVE and it will totally change your perspective on him
he plays tech-trance style, dirty electro house too
anyone listen to the january 07 mix that just came out today? it's a bit on the lighter side which I'm kinda dissapointed
listen to his december mix, it's one of my favorites - SOOOO good, his november one too is phenomenal.....
I really do wish he comes back in the next few months so i can bask by the speaker and feel him taking me over again like at guv 10th anniversary, he truly gave canada a taste of real music

Not that I am aware of. That was in the beginning stages of our plan unfortunately. I could be wrong but as of right now it stands that we will not be there :( |

Good because when I saw him I wasn't that impressed to tell you the truth. I'll get the EM if I can find it and an identity mix or two (there's nothing like that in the d/l thread though) |

Noooo way: his December mix is very disappointing, I couldn't believe how bad it was (not my style I guess, very housey if I remember correctly). The September mix is incredible: I still listen to it! SvD is the man: live he plays a lot of tech-trance, he is amazing live; crowd interaction is wonderful and he gets completely into his sets! Gonna download the Jan mix now :D |
