| seriously, sony is a terrible brand for car audio. xplod's are ty recievers bro. i would've went with well, pio or alpine.. eclipse maybe. kenwood or blaupunkt would've been alright too. |

| i had a sony xplode in my car...after a while i threw it out my window and had my husband rip it out of the car and we put a pioneer in it. But i probably work for pioneer so this post is invalid. |

if you knew a damn thing about the Sony corporation
the only thing they're good at is making tvs.. and they're slipping now ( technology ~6months behind samsung ) oh and making DJ headphones.. alot of people praise a couple of cellphones.. but on the rest of the audio department forget about it, and dont even start with their cameras
sorry for the slight offtopic ness.. but sony has no business in car audio.. they're too broad of a company they go from consoles to cellphone partnerships
stick with pioneer, alpine, and eclipse is nice too dont forget them, and theres a bunch of others |

Lets start by categorizing this for you....
First: If you wanted a normal response to your purchase... you should have posted it in the technology forum. You would've had a different and probably normal convo with the folks there. This is the Chill Out Room, or COR or sometimes referred to as Cracked out retards. The longer you've been around.. the more you would know that this part of the forums elicits little that is worthwhile. It is a place were people jab and take jabs.
Second: You are right. I am a nobody. Its the internet. You are lumped in the same category too.
Third: My degree is in Meteorology and (pursuant masters) in geographical information science. My field is not sales nor as a technologist. Two things support my initial claims. Aesthetics (here is the WIKI if my words are too confusing) play a factor in many purchases. Your usage of words makes me think that you are trying to pass yourself off as a technologist.... reference your ipod/satellite radio mumbo jumbo. Its much easier to say that your player has an 'auxiliary input.' Is it that hard?
Fourth: You are correct with the leading. You are incorrect about following. I do whatever I feel.
Fifth: You should really research before making accusations. I do have a car. Infact, it is the third one I've owned since 18. So what's monetary amount on your said bet? Reference many of the 'whats your ride' threads to see my latest car.
Lastly: Why are you making yourself look like a dick? I never stated anything about which is the better player. I said that your purchase is ugly as hell. Go back and reread it clyde.

17 watts RMS is quite ty if you have aftermarket speakers. Most have a baseline of 10-15 watts RMS. So if you have aftermarket speakers... enjoy replacing them after the coils blow from constant signal distortion. If not, stock paper speakers sound like . But let me guess. You probably drive some slick ride with a killer sound system... right? |

Eh, I'll use your format to topple you even further down:
First: I don't care what forum this is. Chill Out Room. Yes. In my opinion I get more honest replies here. If the truth is that my receiever is "not good," then I will know. But I do have the right to defend my purchase. I have the right to let you know that it is good enough for me, and it is good enough for right now. It cost less than $200. I already told myself as soon as I bought it that I would buy a better one when I got a job.
Second: You are and always will be a nobody. Me, however, I am God. You pray to me before you sleep.
Third: Your major bores me. And my unit is 'iPod and Satellite radio ready', as stated on the box. Meaning if I purchase an iPod or Satellite radio adapter, I will be able to control iPod with the unit itself, or the wireless remote. Same with satellite. Mr. Genius.
Fourth: You are one of those slobby guys in real life, aren't you? Walks around the house, no shirt, gut hanging out, dirty boxers, no socks, messy hair..."just not giving a ," right? Geeze.
Fifth: I could give a less if you have a car. I only said you didn't because I truly believed you were a bus-riding low-life. I mean, that is how you come off. That is not my fault...is it?
Lastly: I act like a dick online because I can. It is that simple. I enjoy arguing with losers like you because I know I will always win and you will eventually give up. And my purchase isn't "ugly as hell". That is your opinion, but you should know by now, your opinion means nothing. The player itself is actually quite attractive...at least it is in person. The image I used does look drab, but once it's on, it's better.
And for the last bit you added, I don't care. Like I said, it's good enough for me. I'm not into the whole "super system" scene. I just want clean, crisp audio that I can impress my friends with. And my purchase does just that. Take it or leave it. |
