| Those who weren't there missed probably the greatest Hard House Diva there is....she is the reason I got into EDM and she is the one DJ who I will make sure I see every time she is in town. |

hard house isnt totally my thing these days but i wont miss her again either. there is an immense energy that radiates from her while she plays and that is totally reflected in her music. she was bangin her head and had her fists pumping through her whole set. |

Can't really say too much about DJ Irene, b/c I spent little time in the main room. I can say however that what I heard was NOT trance (nor was I expecting to hear it). I was dancing in the Drink with Dee with Justin came up to us and said he heard some crazy trance in the main room...Dee and I walk in and are like...WTF, Justin, do you know what trance is? Hahaha
I spent most of my night in The Drink...AMAZING time. The tunes were ing phenomenal and there was tons of room to dance. I went back and forth between the Gallery and The Drink, but I wasn't really feeling the vibe or the tunes in the Gallery.
There weren't too many people out - which worked out well b/c it was a lot easier to keep track of people! Overall it was a fantastic night. It was good to be back in that complex again.
Special thanks to Jay for the free passes, for letting me into the DJ booth at the Guv to see my friend Abdul (remember what I said about Ferry....haha), and for getting me up in the DJ booth at The Drink to personally thank Joe Manzone for helping us out on Thursday. If you're reading this Joe - it was nice to meet you, and thanks again :) |
