Tho I was joking around wit the bitch slot thing ( somewhat cmmon amongst djs.) Kno that u can have a massive effect on how successful the night may go.

I know you were joking. That's why I came with that comment. Thanks for the advice. I have done this before though, ya know. This will be a lot of fun because I have a lot of people that I know here coming to see me play (doesn't hurt that KT is playing that night either. HAHA!).
I actually have two sets tomorrow. I know KT likes to keep his sets around 132 and might peak out at 134 depending on what he feels like. I have seen him play two totally different sets on different nights, one more progy and the other a little more trance like. But, I know the unwritten rules of how to play a headliner. Cory and I will get the crowd going as best we can. KT will do some damage no matter what though. Looking forward to seeing him again.
And who the f**k pushes a 128 track to 140? They don't need to be opening up for anyone, much less playing at all. |

Yeah, but you normally play at around that pace don't you. I don't give you much credit most times. But I will say that you have the ability to really a good groove at 120-125 that most people can't. We don't have the same taste in music, but I enjoyed your last mix you put out.
That will be the last nice words you here from me until I speak at your funeral.

| Duly noted and appreciated. Actually that mix was to prove to myself that I could mix at 120, but I range from 120-135. If I'm playing 135 stuff its like KT - Ghost in the Machine though. Hehe. |

You know what's funny? I have heard him play three live sets and have never heard him drop that. Any idea why? |

I remember hearing PvD doing it repeatedly with "nothing is for real" a while back.
Also, Armin with Blake Jarrell's Dane Cook re-work/mix/thingamajig...that one might've been worse, 'cuz it didn't sound like Dane Cook anymore...

damn u zild. iwanna hear this slaughtering of other djs @ 120 with out short shorts!!! but yea ben u have the world n the respoct of others @ ur palm. it can make or break the headliner.
i realized blank n jones did do good. but the sound of the night en sucked that night cos of the opener. u guys should do good . ben... ill judge gimme ur opening. n yes opening should be from 115 to 130 2 open. if u cnat handle that then go back 2 ur en bedroom 2 en practice. real tranceaddicts have real appreciation for openers for the headliners !!! m i right?!?! i kno so cos i done that since 04 4 the top headliners in the world. ben i have faith in u and same goes for jonas. u guys !!!! this can be the opppertunity of a lifetime for ur area !!! i have mad faith in you guys. seriously. i have no reason 2 kiss that ass... yea... ass.... i seriously wanna ehear ur sets. ill b the judge !!! best of luck 2 u potential superstars !!!!! |
