Nadal looks like he belongs on a motorbike or something.
Bad luck of Safin, it was the best match I've seen so far. The guy is too unstable though, arguing with the ref and stuff. Though entertaining (especially when he used Hawkeye to prove the umpire wrong lol), he needs to find better ways to fire up.
Gael Monfils is out. Disappointing after his massive win in the previous round. Guess fellow Frenchman Richard Gasquet knew his game and antics too well. |

| rafael has ties to his uncle (miguel angel) who i met when i went to watch a mallorca game in his late career & who was brilliant for barca in so many games. Murray has potential but has to add strength, stamina & consistency to his game, but he's shown in beating many of the big names that on any day he can do well :) |

Federer may only fall on his own errors, today he had 31 against Robredos 28 or perhaps his own serve.
He didn't even struggle today and won in 3 straight sets :wtf: |

Why the feck do all the players crumble when they see a big green monster on the opposite side of the net?
Hopefully Vaidisova can get the job done, otherwise it'll have to be Sharapova or Clijsters (sif Hingis lost!).
If Gonzo can keep up his form then he should be able to take out Haas. Federer, well he'll force Gonzo to redline the whole match and watch the unforced errors come.

i think tonite is the real final, Federer V Roddick, the last time we saw Federe lose in Australia was in the same stage of the tournament 2 years ago to Safin, who is a very similar player to Roddick in so many ways, Big serve, huge groundstrokes and predominantly a bassliner.
I think Roddick will give him a tough time, but i still think Federer has about 3 gears up his sleeve, we will se the real Federer 2nite! |

Federer will come out on top. It will be a great match but Federer is just too good for words at this stage of life. The dude hits shots most players dream of (actually gonzales hit a ripper trick shot when he was running back to the baseline, courier said 'shot of the tournament'.. id have to agree!)
