I had a listen. Some good ideas in here. If you mixed it live then I'm impressed. I bow. Some things could have been done better. I sometimes had an impression you're not cutting the highs at all. That is why there were moments when too much was going on. Also I'm very sensitive when it comes to layered melodies. Most of these were going well together, but not naturally well. The melodies were sometimes in different key, but if there was a clash, it was really minor. Overall, great, creative job.

Hey, if MoN-SooN endorses it I'll take a listen. I especially love track #s 14 and 17. Those are great tracks. Download = GO!

You must have been using 3 turntables or a software program of some kind, because this mix is phenomenal. Tracks 16, 17, and 18 all seem to be playing at once. As much as I like track 17 on it's lonesome, I gotta say that Chicane's song melded so well that it was like you produced it yourself. Of course, now I highly suspect that your mix is engineered on ableton or something, so you've lost a lot of credibility in my eyes. Regardless, this is a wonderful mix that you've obviously put a lot of effort and time into. For some reason it's just not hitting with me 100% as one of my favorite tranceaddict mixes. I agree with MoN-SooN that sometimes there are just too many melodies playing at once.

Hello there. First of all , thanks alot for your feedback guys :). Much apprecciated.
Well , this mix is not a live mix :( . It's prerecorded using MixMeister. It's too dificult to do ths live imo cos as the_transient said there are moments when 3 track are playing at the same time.
And yes I know, there are momments when to much is going on so this will not be repeated in the next set :)
Now talking about "naturality", you can't get it 100% just because you have to do with 2 (or more) DIFFERENT tracks.
Cya :)

I object :) You can do the mash-up that nobody will know you're playing two/more tracks at the same time. It is confirmed. First of all, the tracks must be in the same key, but that is usually not enough. Besides that, good eq'ing is required so the tracks do not interfere. I worked on this quite a long time. I would be glad if you had a chance to look at my megamix from the sig. There are loads of mash-ups in there and I'm really happy with the outcome. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so you would be probably able to point some disadvantages. And that would be cool. I hope my post doesn't look immodestly, lol. It's just an invitation for a broader discussion, because we can learn something one from another. Cheers.

Hey MoN-SooN your post is OK my friend :). We are here to discuss :)
Well you're almost right m8. You can do the "perfect" mashup BUT ... 99% perfect :D. You know what I meam ... And as you said mixing in key is not always enough. Most of the tracks in my mix are in the same key but someone with a good ear for music will recognize some difference in tone (for example #5 mashup ) .
Very curious about your mix. Gonna check it now and I'll come back ... :)
