Clairemont was a good idea!!! LOL

How about restaurant Bed? (side note, you make a bet about something stupid, the payoff being that she has to give you "Head in Bed" when you win, you spring it on her that you are going to Bed restaurant. Worked for me!)

Prime is a good evening and two of the best steaks in Atlanta.

Pasta de Pusinella (on 12th) is a nice spot and one of my favorite hole in the wall restaurants. Very low key and good so you can have some privite time without feeling like you are in a restaurant.

If it was not so damn cold, I would say picnic on top of Stone Mountain.

I know a few pilots that would take you up, let you eat dinner as you fly around atlanta looking at the lights, then let you join the mile high club afterwards!

Fogo De Chao is nice but I think it is $75 per person to get your eat on there! BUT something about eating meat off a spit makes a girl cream!

Stoney River is also really good for a steak but it is up in Alpharetta area.

Canoe is a good spot near Cobb area.

Ok that should get you a start. If you need more, shoot me a PM with your e-mail and I will send you "The Fat Kids Guide: to eating well in Atlanta" I have yet to get the damn thing published but believe me, this fat kid knows his restaurants. :tongue2

As a vegetarian myself, Im a particular fan of the sushi bar on Piedmont... or is it far enough North that its on Peachtree? Someone help me out. Its not Ru Sans.
Scottaculous
If you're on Piedmont and just passing Peachtree Rd intersection. On the right is Ru-Sans (crap) and on the left is next to the Kroger's is Lotus. Formerly it was Soto.

BTW, I'm curious as to what a vegetarian can eat in a sushi bar.
