It's 90% mental 10% physical.
If you tell your self that you can do an allnighter and still produce good work then you actually do. Most of the time anyway.
My issue used to be " it's 1.45am, I can't possibly work now." But if I can spend all night doing other stuff I can spend all night doing coursework.
Tip: Eat good food through out this period. Bananas are your friend as is cereals such as weetabix or porridge. Red bull every hour with tea/coffee in between, regular breaks every hour and you are sorted.
It works, last one I did I got highest mark in the class, proof! |

in high school i did all nighters a few times for exams i knew i could be on top ....
at uni im used to do some as well , for the finals of the last semester i did let's say a all night session slept like 7 hours in 3 days because i had to give everything for the oral exams
it worked well but i was a waste for the next days
im currently studying for the finals so it's very rough , but kind of harder since some subjects are so damn technical and learning all the little details by heart are a pain in the butt
i have 2 oral exams in about 2 weeks and a half ....though i spend my days studying hard i know i'll have to do some all nights sessions again for the oral exams , im determined to pass with good grades so ...it's a choice i could go to bed early and that is ....
but i want more so ....yeah no matters if i dont sleep and look like a crackhead , i have my priorities set up
after it's all done i'll have plenty of time to sleep and recover ! |
