LOL heard that in a copywrite song. " Read the bible drunk with my tongue inside a nun; use my dick for a sundial, so my time has come" LOL hilarious song.

I used to wear an analog watch all the time... I honestly hate not knowing what time it is. But then the face plate of it fell off and when I decided to keep wearing it, the minute hand fell off :(, so I've been using nothing for the last while.

Most definitely a watch...

a) IMO it's an important piece to have
b) I have a bit of an obsession with watches

I've managed to somehow lose/misplace over a thousand dollars worth of watches (a TAG Heuer Aquaracer + others) so I do not wear one now.

I LOVE WATCHES... you can never have too many!

+1

Nor can they ever be too expensive. I would seriously dump a few thousand into a watch, if I had enough money to buy it. I love em, mine never comes off my wrist except when I'm in the shower.

One thing I learned though, is that mechanical watches are suited for someone with a definitive life - one that has a set daily schedule and keeps to it. I am anything but that, so remembering to wind it up before it goes dead is still a bit of a challenge for me, and I've had this watch for over 6 months now.

So my next watch will definitely be one of those kinetic babies. Tag Heuer probably cause I love their designs. I tend to favor classic designs over modern ones (Movado watches totally don't appeal to me), but I hate the tacky gold look on watches too.

reading a watch requires one movement - wrist to face

reading a cell phone requires two.
1) Hand to pocket
2) Hand to face

wrist watch > cell phone

i love my watch

i never take it off - except when i go to a club - in case i damage or lose it.

This line of logic only works if you're not in an environment where the current time isn't displayed all around you. Since those with desk jobs have their computer/office phone to help them with the time, when in travel they have their car clock, and if they have their cell phone then if they receive calls/voice mails frequently enough they'll end up knowing the time anyways.

Summary -- these days its pretty easy to get the time without having a watch on hand.
