as of these 2 mixers is your favourite

Well. Since the DJM600 is a bit outdated by now, I'd go with the Ecler Nuo4. The Nuo4 is less expensive than the DJM600 (at least in the US), but it doesn't have built-in effects. It also doesn't have a vumeter for every channel, and there also aren't very many lights on the mixer itself. The Nuo4 does have MIDI out via USB.

If you want effects and the such, and still want a 4-channel mixer, I would either save up (since you're already saving up now) for a Nuo5 or a DJM800. Of these two, I would probably go for the DJM800.

Basically, you shouldn't be paying full retail (or close to it) for a DJM600 these days- there are newer and better mixers available.

EDIT: Ecler Nuo5 is the one with onboard effects. Thanks to Konix for noticing the mistake.

You shouldn't pay retail for anything, dj equipment or not. There's always someone selling for cheaper/better.

I'd go with the Ecler over the 600, it's just newer and updated (And it has Midi!) Go for the djm 800 if you can swing it.

thank you very much I am open to more opinions

I would get a djm 600 or 500 over a nuo 4.. the reason being that the nuo's SUCK in the EQ dept.

:haha: :haha: ... Best EQ's I have ever used.. And I have been on a DJM600, Denon X1500, A&H 32/62...

I know Allied Nations will say something if he reads what I am about to write(;)), BUT, I will admit the mid's are a bit wide (cover alot of freq's) now that I have had it for a decent period of time, however, that works to my benefit for the genre I play.

As for the effects comments. The Nuo4 does have FX send/receive on it, so you can match up an external unit if you wanted FX.

Sound Quality on a Ecler will kill the outdated 500/600. This fact alone would be my number one reason to get the Ecler over the Pioneer. :) (Especially if you plan on adding good cabling, TRS or XLR, and high quality monitors)

As I mentioned in another thread, the mids on an Ecler Nuo4 are wide enough to drive a bus through. IMO, it really comes down to one getting used to a particular mixer. I also found the up faders to be a bit abrupt from maybe 8-10 (used to only mix up to 8), but I haven't really used another mixer before, so I don't have anything to compare against.

I'd consider getting a DJM800, or at least trying/using one for an extended period of time.

Yeah, and if you kill the high and mid with the fader up and low at 12 o'clock it's like grandma bass.. hardly anything comming through the speakers.
visions
then of equalización and sound it would gain ecler, but against it does not have effects and either estandart is not the mixer
