Well he played a tripe monotonous set at Spirits last January, and for his WMC set, out of a 4 hour set, he took TWO HOURS to pick up the pace, and played Crush (Vandit Club mix) TWICE. Total letdown, I haven't looked at PVD the same ever since. The only good thing to come out of the WMC set was Giuseppe Ottaviani & Marc van Linden - Until Monday (original mix).

Nothing at all. PVD usually bangs it out proper when playing @ Space and has dropped some of the most memorable conference sets ever @ Space. The issue some people have with him is that last year's conference set @ Space was a serious letdown and not up to PVD's standards. Yet he came back to Space in June and November and destroyed the out of that place each time with some of the best sets of 2006. Just ask anyone here who went and you will not get one bad review of those nights.

DA says what he says and that's his right. But it's because he doesn't like house (which PVD plays some of now) and DA also has not heard PVD @ Space since last March (conference). So his opinion is based on limited information as he did not go to the last 2 PVD events (which I know he would have loved), and also based on his hatred for anything house-oriented IMO. To each his own.

But I can say I have seen PVD @ Space for conference every year since 2001 or so and 1 bad conference set will not keep me away.

All accurate. Regardless, taking TWO HOURS to pick up a set's pace on an "All-Or-Nothing" night during WMC is inexcusable. It's great he played well for you all on the other two nights (June, November) but on the other hand I won't agree and say they were great because I wasn't there to listen to judge for myself, and of course that was by choice.

According to some friends of mine, PVD did a great WMC Space night in '05 but I missed that one to go to ULTRA. That was dumb.

I hereby place YOU in charge of the review of this coming night since you call things down the middle, but if he doesn't play Another Way or the stuff I wanna hear I will have no regrets missing this night.

Nothing against PvD and the crowd..but having to deal with probably one of the most if not most packed nights at @ Space...I'll probably go to see Sander... but it just sucks that you're not guaranteed when it comes to Space even if you have a ticket...you still have to show up early and wait 4-5 hours before Sander comes on.

And you bring up another good point. It's gonna be ridiculously overpacked. Another reason to skip out unless you got VIP and VIP's gonna be retarded expensive during WMC, naturally.

DA I feel your pain, really I do. I dont think theres anyone that feels the pain more than you. I have to drive from Charlotte, NC 11 hours each way with traffic and I was at Spirits Jan6th and Space WMC 2006 and they were both extremely huge let downs. Butttttttttt, and I know it wont change your mind. June and Novemeber sets were hot and you should trust me and other people on that.

Lets also keep in mind what happened Jan6th, the crowd turnout was like a standard city so he played like it wasnt South Florida, then WMC, we were lucky to have him that night seeing that a relative of his passed away. C'mon man, think it through go out and have a good time

you guys, dont just judge paul on his recent sets in miami ~~ take a listen to some of his most recently recorded sets like the incheba stadium one from december and the recent vandit night in berlin... totally awesome banging sets with tons of classics throughout (another way, face to face, we are alive, connected etc) - hes on fire right now... by the way i guess im still the only one who enjoyed that set in fort lauderdale @ spirits! :tongue2

see you at space!
