I recently had a website with a lot of my artwork/photography in it, but it died. now i need
a new one and id like it to be simular to this one....

flash website not necessary!
Apart from maybe a banner or two if you wanna make it a little cooler, and perhaps for photo galleries.
Just have the whole site redesigned to actually look pro.

Agreed. Flash websites suck ass at search engine optimization. It's really hard to index the sites in most search engines, resulting in lower rankings based on the content of your site (because the spiders don't know how to read the site). |

very true this im a web designer, flash is really poor and you will find that 90% of people browsing the net hate it as it takes so much time to load silly things flying around the screen. if you want a professional site use CSS. |
