THE BBCM FOUNDATION PRESENTS THE RED WEEKEND :
A MAJOR GAY VALENTINE’S CELEBRATION IN MONTREAL
February 15 to 19, 2007

The BBCM Foundation is proud to present its popular RED Weekend (14th edition), a Valentine’s Celebration, from February 15 to 19 (which coincides this year with the American President’s Holiday Weekend). On this occasion, the BBCM has planned the main event, the RED Party, on Saturday, February 17 at Club Parking with an After-RED at Circus Nightclub.

THE RED PARTY (MAIN EVENT)

The Red Party is the BBCM’s winter event, and this year, it will take place in Montreal’s gay village. The first part of the RED will take place at one of the best and biggest gay clubs in Montreal, Club Parking (1296 Amherst Street), on Saturday, February 17, from 9 pm to 3 am, and will feature DJ Alain Jackinsky (Montréal), and special guest DJ Manny Lehman from the USA (djmannylehman.com). The after-RED will take place at Circus Nightclub (1420 St-Timothé Street), a major after-hours club located the two blocks away from Club Parking. Circus opens its doors at 2:00 in the morning. The participants are invited to join the regular clientele of Circus Nightclub (mixed crowd) to dance to the sound of DJ Eric Entrena from Spain (Barcelona, www.ericentrena.com, www.tororecordings.com, www.indamix.ca) who has recently gained a solid international reputation. Eric Entrena has played all over the world and his own productions have been used by major DJs such as Roger Sanchez, DJ Vibe, Peter Rauhofer, Chus & Ceballos, Deep Dish and Danny Tenaglia, to name only a few. Many industry observers bill him as one of the best European DJs currently. The After-RED at Circus will also feature two Circus resident DJs, Bruno Brow and Erik El.

It will be possible to purchase a combo ticket for the RED party at Parking, followed by the after RED party at Circus Nightclub at a cost of $40. The price at the door for Parking only will be $12.00. The regular entrance fee at Circus is $40.00 so it is therefore strongly recommended to have your combo ticket already since the combo ticket will also provide a priority access. The BBCM dancers will do special entertainment during the night (at Parking) and there will be door prizes. The suggested dress code is red with an optional touch of leather.

Eric Entrena! WOO!!! Talk about under-appreciated talent. His set at Comfort Zone last month was off the fcukin' hook.

I just wanna know... is anyone gonna tell the Circus regulars about the homo invasion? Or are just gonna let that little detail slide and watch the chaos? :P
