I really don't think that's it - montana and Allied Nations are pretty active - and this isn't the first time we've had a lot of mixed in key spam.

He's the only spammer I can think of that I don't recall being banned - though I could be entirely wrong.

Guys, there is no need for negativity. We don't post "spam" and its once in a blue moon that a company like Pioneer or Allen & Heath creates new DJ software based on the viral support from the DJ community.

There are thousands of DJs who use the software now who really like it, including hundreds of trance DJs (many of them are TAs who helped improve it since day one). There is no point in being negative about it.
Mr.Mystery
Yes there is. Your software is .

There is when your only posts on this forum are you to advertise software in which you hold a vested financial interest.

The only thing you use this forum for is to sell your product. In my opinion, one I'm sure is shared by at least a few others, that is the very definition of spam.

And again, I have to ask - why is it that this guy is allowed to do this when anyone else who does anything remotely similar is almost always instantly banned?

RJT,

Most communities stick together and we're enthusiastic about helping DJs improve their mixing. We've been on TA for ages and we've followed the DJ scene for more than 10 years. My first-ever DJ set was posted on TA in May 2001. Since then I've played several Ministry of Sound gigs, and about 30 different clubs in the US. It's fun to share my knowledge and information with others, and I don't feel embarassed or bad coming to my favorite trance community. Our partnership with Allen & Heath is very positive because it encourages more DJs to learn music theory and become better DJs and producers.

How you think that justifies coming here SOLELY to sell your product is beyond me.

You aren't shareing knowledge - you're selling a product for personal gain.

Software that does all the keying and work for you does anything but encourage music theory knowledge.

Mixing solely based on key does not make someone a better DJ.

So nobody knows why this guy gets a free pass, huh?

That's a shame.

I don't generally moderate outside of MW. I don't want to be accused of being power hungry again.

Duh! He allows DJ's to mix in key! That was never possible before, you know!
