I gotta say, before I used to laugh my ass off at the freaks/bad singers, but yesterday it was just sad (although I still laughed at some points). I agree with what Mona is saying here - especially when they made the worst of the worst sing The dolls Cats song (or however the their name goes - "don't you wish your girlfriend was as hot as me"). That was just brutal, and its sole purpose was to humiliate the people singing. If you want to humiliate people, just make your format like WB's Superstar USA and give up the whole "looking for best singer" thing.
P.S. The fact that I didn't laugh my ass off is starting to bother me. I should have been in tears from laughter. WTF is wrong with me? |

There is plenty wrong with you :D
but the fact is...watching people humiliate themselves on cable TV is what draw the viewers. And thats what FOX wants. Viewers for the advertising money. I'm not going to lie, the only reason why I watch the show is to see how bad and crazy some of the contestants are. Once they actually get on with the show, I stop watching.
Whatever happened to that asian dude who sucked so bad and that everyone was making fun of...but he didn't realize...and he made a CD or something haha...to the ricky martin song or whatever.. |

| Plus Paula is seriously getting annoying so far. Antagonizing the losers to sing more feeding their inflated ego's and placating their god awful singing. She needs to grow balls or down more booze and say what she actually thinks. |

Yup, I've been busy the past couple nights... glad to see AJ is on top of it!
Watched some of last night's show, and recorded Tuesday's show (still need to watch it). But yeah, been hearing friends complain that they're making the really poor singers make asses of themselves even further just for ratings, thinking its really cruel what they're doing. |
